RiboFlow® Listeria Twin now MicroVal approved !

The RiboFlow® Listeria Twin has been certified by Lloyd's Register as an equivalent method for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes after a successful completion of the MicroVal validation procedure according to ISO 16140-2:2016.
It is the first test kit for detection of Listeria monocytogenes approved from MicroVal using the new validation protocol according to the ISO 16140-2:2016 standard as well as the recently revised EN ISO 11290-1:2017 standard for the detection of Listeria monoctogenes as reference method.
The RiboFlow® Listeria Twin test kit is a rapid biomolecular test using a proprietary technoolgy targeting ribosomal RNA based on a combination of nucleic acid hybridisation and lateral flow assay technology.
Making use of the dual detection capabilities of the RiboFlow® Listeria Twin assay, beside the L. mono result the L.spp. status of the tested sample will also be revealed.
